Pastor Gary Winslow was born and raised in Stony Creek, NY. He received Christ as Lord and Savior in 1977 and was ordained into eldership in 1989. Along with his wife Kate and three children, Abby, Maggie and Nathan he was sent out into the Glens Falls area to establish a New Testament church fellowship alongside Apostle Jeff and family in 1997. In 1999 he became a lay pastor over our local body to minister and see lives changed.

Gary served as an elder and chairman of trustees for many years and has since retired from those roles.

Kate served as our High Praise Director since the start of Abiding Life in 1997 for about 12 years before her daughter Maggie joined her as co-director. Kate’s voice is a gift from the Lord. She is a head cook at an elementary school in Saratoga Springs School District.

Although Gary is retired he has worked many years as a heavy equipment operator and continues to do so part time at a stone quarry in Saratoga Spring. Gary & Kate have been married for 40 years and reside in Wilton.

Gary’s favorite scripture is,
Philippians 4: 6 & 7; "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known to God and the God of peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus."
