Senior Pastor/Elder Josh Wood was born and raised in Providence, NY. He came to Abiding Life Christian Church when his parents and others established the church in 1997. In 2002 he received both his MA/BA degree in Mathematics from SUNY Potsdam. He has served Abiding Life in multiple ways over the years since the church’s founding. This includes mowing grass, snow blowing, cleaning the church building, being a nursery attendant, singing on the high praise team, teaching & preaching on Sunday mornings. He served as the leader of the audio/visual ministry for many years. He was appointed as a church elder in March 2015. He was ordained as the Sr. Pastor/Sr. Elder in February 2023. He has answered the call that God has placed on his heart and is excited to see what God has in store for this body of believers.

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
